Dr. Jay Goodman
An innovative educator and program developer with a passion for transforming learning experiences

Dr. Jay Goodman brings nearly two decades of experience in education to his practice, specializing in program development, instructional design, and community-based learning. He has designed curriculum and PBL experiences in seven schools across four continents and brings a rich understanding of the ways schools need to adapt to their specific organizational and cultural contexts. His experience in problem-based learning, design-thinking, and community-based learning, including in the award-winning Innovation Institute at Shanghai American School and as a founding member of the Changemakers program at Nido de Aguilas in Santiago, Chile, gives him a unique perspective on course and program design.
Informed by his Ed.D. research in PBL implementation, Jay leverages evidence-based strategies and a collaborative approach to build bespoke courses and programs. He is committed to helping educational institutions create dynamic, student-centered experiences that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and global citizenship.
